What the heck is the Brewers' 6th inning ERA this year and last? Good grief.

Don't know the ERA, but the Brewers' 6th inning pitching stats are very bad compared to the rest of the NL.

National League

.266 BAA, .336 OBP, .429 SLG, .765 OPS

Milwaukee Brewers

.336 BAA, .404 OBP, .531 SLG, .935 OPS

As the 21st century began, human evolution was at a turning point. Natural selection, the process by which the strongest, the smartest, the fastest, reproduced in greater numbers than the rest, a process which had once favored the noblest traits of man, now began to favor different traits. Most science fiction of the day predicted a future that was more civilized and more intelligent. But as time went on, things seemed to be heading in the opposite direction. A dumbing down. How did this happen? Evolution does not necessarily reward intelligence. With no natural predators to thin the herd, it began to simply reward those who reproduced the most, and left the intelligent to become an endangered species.

Well Price Fielder is certainly hitting at the level of his pay. 650K for a .265 hitter is about right. Some reporter should ask him if he still feels underpaid.

The next 9 games could really determine our season. Cardinals, Dodgers, and Red Sox in Fenway. If we really keep this play up we are going to be buried by the end of that stretch.

Totally agree. They have to win at least 3 against STL don't you think?

I can't wait to see Ned step up to the podium after the game, look right at the camera, and say with complete sincerity, "Boy, their pitcher sure threw well. He was just on his game. You have to give him credit."

Don't forget: "We'll be fine. Every team goes through these slumps. That's why we play 162 games."

Why doesn't Skaalen tell Hall not to give away the fact that he is taking the pitch by literally relaxing back in his stance??? Would that really be that tough of an adjustment? He's been doing that all year. I don't care if he is going to take the first pitch, but for the love of God, I'm tired of seeing him give it away before the ball even leaves the pitcher's hand.

There is really only one word to describe this. SAD.

Six weeks into the season and it feels like the end is near. Changes have to be made before it is to late.

You can't fire a team, so it time to say see you Ned.
