While T-Bow's been money this year, his wobble yesterday forced Cordero in for the 9th and most managers won't bring in a closer for the third straight day when it's a non-save situation, because then he's definitely out for the next day. Of course, going to Aquino yesterday may have at least let one of them have the day off, or not the way he's throwing.

 

Even if you had reasons to bring in Aquino, what was the harm in letting Wise pitch the bunt, he just has to throw a BP pitch or two.

 

Cappy pretty much made sure he won't be called up for a few weeks with his snit this week, so who would the Brewers bring up??

This game kind of reminded me of the Mets game where we were down 8-4 in the 8th on Turnbow bobblehead doll night, and Koskie hit a 3-run homer, then Miller homered to tie it. Then Turnbow gave up a homer to LoDuca in the 9th. Same sort of feeling I guess.
