I agree, being a Brewer fan is like being in AA- take it one day at a time. Drank a bottle of Aquino last night and fell off the wagon, but today is a new day. Here's to Houston packin' the punch of a sixer of O'douls.

Yost, on Tuesday night I gave you the ultimatum to have the Central back by Monday or I was walking over to my local bridge. That means you have to win today and figure out a way to beat Oswalt tomorrow. If that Brewers flag isn't flying above the other five central teams when I get to Wrigley on Monday night there is going to be hell to pay.

While I understand the frustration of fans, it was the right thing to do to give Aquino another shot last night. a great outing last night in April could have done wonders in august or september. yes it didn't work and now he knows he can't count on him in pressure situations.

 

its the same reason garner let Lidge try to work through 8 straight balls. in a 162 game season, sometimes the confidence of a pitcher may cost u a game or 2 in april, but win you 10 in september.

Brad Lidge has been one of the best relievers for years. Aquino is guy who wasn't trusted to pitch close games for the DBacks last year. Lidge was brought in with a four run lead. Aquino was brought in in a tie game Not anywhere close to the same.
