Excel Formula: Delete everything before symbol

I'm in need of a formula for excel which will delete everything before an equal sign and put it into Column B, such as:

 

Column: A

john doe=123456abcd

 

Column: B

123456abcd

 

I did a google search and found the formula =RIGHT(A1,FIND("=",A1)) but instead of the output I want, it gives:

 

Column: A

john doe=123456abcd

 

Column: B

23456abcd

 

It always seems to cut off the first part of Column B.

Instead of putting an =, put a 1

 

It will look like

 

=RIGHT(A1,FIND("1",A1))

=RIGHT(A1,FIND("=",A1)+1)
