Nice move, Ned. it's NINETEEN to FIVE. Somebody will get themselves out by sheer accident at some point sooner or later. It might be five runs in the future but who the hell cares at this point. Why burn up Stetter? We may need him tomorow in a game we might actually have a prayer of winning.

Struggling to decide who I hate more, Ned or Derrick. I probably won't have to worry about Derrick much longer, though.

Sorry Turdblow, but your 15.63 era just isn't going to cut it anymore, hopefully you are gone for good. Possibly at least a DL trip after you smash some stuff in the clubhouse, you should be upset enough with yourself to at least do some damage to Wrigley somewhere. Feel free to get injured somehow.
Everything I've ever known, I've learned from Brewerfan.net....Seriously though

I am so glad I turned the game off after the first inning and just periodically checked the gamecast. My roommate called this blow out last night after we won and I told him the game was on ESPN. Oh well, I suppose we got them pretty good on FOX last year (though not quite this good).

I'm mildly disappointed that the Cubs couldn't put an even 20 on the board. It's games like these that make me wish that MLB.TV showed postgame press conferences. How long do you think everyone will sit in silence once Yost gets up to the podium before someone has the guts to say something like "So....Braun hit the ball well tonight..." instead of actually asking Ned what he thought of Suppan and Turnbow?

I happen to think that Ned did as much as he could to get Turnbow through the inning but at some point enough is enough. Derrick is still human and a baseball player and there is not need to parade him around out there when everyone knows that his effectiveness is non-existent. It stinks that it had to happen and I hope for the best for Derrick no matter what he does as he seemed like a good guy who seemed to care too much about what the fans thought of him. You can hate someone for a lot of reasons, but not throwing balls and strikes seems somewhat crass.

Oh give me a break. Fans throw around the word "hate" in sports all the time. I am quite certain I am not the first. If you honestly think I wish Derrick Turnbow physical harm, I assure you I do not, and I apologize for offending your sensibilities. But he's getting 3 million dollars this year to pitch like that. I'd absorb a lot of verbal abuse for that kind of dough, so I'm not going to feel too bad for him.
