The Astros DFA'd Stephen Randolph from their bullpen and called up CF Hunter Pence, who will get the start in tomorrow's game. This leaves Houston's bullpen with 6 pitchers.

That was like 4 or 5 years ago and it struck me as odd because it had been so long since I had really truly expected the Brewers to be good.

Now here we are and I can't hardly get any work done. I have this crazy feeling like I have a bunch of good friends on this board and that we could win the World Series. When in fact I have never met any of you and it is only April. I have become a 37 year old loser who would wish away a beautiful Saturday afternoon if the game could start right now.

15-8 would be unreal. But even better would be the message we sent out to the NL central during this road trip. We would have put our foot on the throat of some of our biggest rivals. I got to see the game last night on FSN. I live in El Paso so I got the Astro?s feed. The announces just ripped on us but they had nothing. The refer to Jenkins as Favre and said they have 2 more games against us to right the ship, and that historically the Brewers are exactly what the doctor ordered.

Historically, the Astros have had more talent than the Brewers for quite some time. Perhaps someone should let them know that things change.

Without wanting to come off as a major pessimist, I'd like to see the Brewers handle a 4-game series with PIT first. How many time has that been their downfall?

It just so happens that they host the scurvy cur Pirates for four games May 3-6. Their 4 game trip to PIT is July 2-5.
