Yeah we really could use a series win here. I think it would do wonders for the team. I hope Cameron gives a quick shot in the arm, even if for only a few games. Something has to happen to get these bats going again, that's for sure. Go Crew!

The pitchers have been doing their job, now we need the offense to come alive!

Hopefully the day off will do some good and having Cameron back can give them a boost even though that means Gywnn sits now. I think Gywnn is a good player and sitting him all the time does nothing for him.

Anyway, BEAT THE CUBS!

I'll be at this game, don't know where I am sitting though, probably 2nd level, infield. Will be wearing a 1982 blue styled sweatshirt, say hi if you see me.

I am really excited to see this game, Ben has been pitching great so far this year, and we get Cameron back. I just hope the Cub fans let me enjoy the game.

Woogie - thank you for making my day! I hadn't had a positive thought about baseball in my mind all day, but that made me laugh out loud. It was a struggle for me to even come to this site today, but that made it more than worth it. The part about Santo is brutal, but hilarious! Maybe if Ned could show that to the entire team they would break out of whatever kind of fog they are in. Thanks for the inspiration!!!

Off days suck, but not really this time. Watching the brewers lately has been a frustrating task. I needed a day off.

Amen, man... amen. I remember from 2007, too, that the off-days did as much for me mentally as I'm sure they did for the players physically & mentally.

Here's hoping Sheets is actually at full health & not just postponing something major.

Hopefully the day off will do some good and having Cameron back can give them a boost even though that means Gywnn sits now.

It's a boost in two ways! -- better hitter, and takes poor hitter out of the everyday lineup. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Here is to Sheets continuing to dominate! Stay healthy Sheeter. I have to say I will feel warm and cozy inside when Cammeron runs out to center. I love TGJ but having a vet out there who is known for his D will be nice. I hope he comes out swinging. How did he do in the few games he played in the minors?

I'm pretty sure he smacked the ball around pretty good. I know in one of his final games he hit a home run according to BA, and I think he had a couple extra base hits too. I'm not positive on the specifics though. All I heard was that he did pretty well.

Sheets is 2/4 against Lilly. I'm going out on a limb and predicting an RBI from Sheeter tonight!

You don't have an Adam Wainwright. Easily the best gentlemen in all of sports. You don't have the amount of real good old American men like the Cardinals do. Holliday, Wainwright, Skip, Berkman those 4 guys are incredible people
