I've always said (since 2005) that J.J will be the best "Brewer" from this crop. Good defense and adequate baserunning with medium power. I thought Prince and Weeks would be to good to be Brewers throughout their careers and would sign monster free agent contracts. I figured JJ would be a David Eckstien type of player we could keep for his entire career, but if he keeps this up he'll be a Yankee. I mean that in a good way.

 

JJ has always hit the ball well even when his average didn't reflect it. Always hitting line drives, just sometimes right at people.

I'll have you know that when I flipped up my Brewers wall calendar to May this morning, none other than...Geoff Jenkins graced the page.

I am very happy for Ben Sheets. I think he needed this game to silence some of the critics.

 

Great to see the offense bust out too.
