Oh, I thought they mentioned that it was/or was going to be.

I believe it was open in the afternoon and they closed it for whatever reason. Gametime temps show on the scoreboard tonight were 68/71 - don't know which was inside and which was outside.

It would be open tomorrow afternoon, but there is a small chance of rain, so you know what that means...

I like Derick Turnbow right now...but hope he doesn't have to close a game again this year.

I still hate Aramis Ramirez...and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I also hate the fact that I had to pass on the game tomorrow and seats 6 rows back by the 3B dugout just because of a couple damn classes. Gotta remember to save my skip days longer next year.

GO BREWERS!

Well, that was a double happiness surprise game.

The Jenkins montage at the start of the game was a nice gesture. By his first AB I was already kind of thinking, OK, but you're on the other team now. Toward the end of the game, that was my G-Whiff up there. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Dave Bush kept the game from getting out of reach - I'll take it. Prince and his Boca Blasts - I'll take them. Derrick in the 9th - man, I admit, I said to the S.O. as Kendall ended the 8th, "at least the bottom of the 9th would feature the top of the order." But I was glad to be wrong. I got the feeling that tonight's crowd (at least within my earshot) really wanted to see him succeed (whether they believed it would happen or not). I'm happy for him and hope this outing builds his confidence.

The high schoolers who sang the national anthem had seats in our section and pretty much surrounded us the rest of the night. This kid with a Fielder jersey had just finished eating for the cycle when Prince hit his second bomb, and I had just flipped my cap into rally position. We both felt like we had made a difference.

I want to know who was sitting in the front row of 417 with a firenedyost.com "Yosted 08" shirt on. I figure it just about had to be someone who posts here.

Finally...

I don't know if I have ever been so excited about an April win!

This was exciting because of the comeback and because it was at home, but it was one year ago tonight that we were all very excited about this April win.

(Happy birthday, Team Canada - somewhat belated)

That was one fun game. I totally called the 2nd Prince blast, ask anyone around me.

Everyone in our section was behind Derrick 100%. No sense booing a guy that's trying.

I need sleep, fun game. Nice job Boosh!

Had a great time at the game tonight, nice crowd 30000 plus, had dinner at the metavanta club or .300 club very nice, looks a little different but not much, nice tribute to Geoff and 2 standing O's. Prince had a great game and Tbow scared me when he came in but got the job done and after the game when Rob Edwards says save goes to Tbow a big cheer went out. The crows was really into the game.

I don't know if this has been posted before, but this game was incredibly similar to my favorite Brewers win last year. Brewers fell behind early but chipped away at Cole Hamels to make it 5-4 in the 8th (who started for the Brewers? Dave Bush), and it was it was 4-3 last night. One man on for Fielder in the bottom of the eighth in both games. Fielder blasts, closer closes.

Deja vu?

I was thinking the same thing. However that also made me think of this. I hope the similarities end with last night...

I was really looking forward to the right-handed heavy lineup dominating another left-handed pitcher, but whudda thunk that the damage would have come from the lone lefty in the lineup? Great in-game and postgame comments from the big guy. It seemed as he was more relaxed last night and not trying to hit every pitch out of the stadium (hopefully he'll share that realization, and maybe a veggie burger, with Braun).

Hawing - what defines "eating for the cycle"? And are these general enough to apply to all MLB parks, or does each park have its own standards based upon local entrees? I'm feeling a challenge coming on, and want to make sure the feat is officially recognized.

Prince's 8th inning jack also made me think of that August 4 game from last year (although there was no miracle catch from Corey in the 9th, which in a way is just as well). At least if a closer falters today, it won't be as much of a surprise as it was in the August 5 game last year.

I thought 'eating for the cycle' was having one of each of the sausages. I could be wrong, and I suppose the 'cycle' doesn't exactly pertain now that there are five sausage types at MP.

Now that I think of it, I should have suggested that the kid also have a soy dog. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Oh, I thought they mentioned that it was/or was going to be.

On the radio I heard them say the panels were open and it was the first time they had the panels open this year but the roof was still closed.

The panels were actually open for most of the day game on Tuesday as well. It was around the 7th when it got breezy and they closed them until the game was over.

Everything I've ever known, I've learned from Brewerfan.net....Seriously though
