Man oh man, Gagne and Weeks blowing that lead yesterday hurts now

But extra innings are the Brewers niche! They're 5-1 in extras, they must enjoy it!

Why are people booing Bush batting, do they not understand the bullpen situation?

This game is looking like a million games last year. We come out rocking in the 1st inning, looking like the 1927 Yankees, and then settle in to looking like the '02 Brewers the rest of the game.

Either that, or we're facing a top 5 or 10 NL pitcher, and he's making adjustments.

Ugh I can see the Phillies smacking Dave around here this inning.

Edit: Uh Ned, if the leash on Bush was that short why didn't you use a pinch hitter there?

Ned Yost says, 'Hope - pass it on'

We have to name his trademarked non-PH for a starter-that's-clearly-fatigued/less effective move (and yes, I agree that today is a poor situation, but one Yost created himself)

Whats the point of keeping Bush in to hit

He needs Rivera's bat for the 12th inning. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I mean pinch hitting a lefty against Hamels is by no means a guaranteed hit, but I like the odds of Counsell or Gwynn getting on base more than Bush.
