I'm thrilled we are only one game back with how poor our offense has been, and the fact that Chicago seems to be on a 30 game homestand right now.

Yeah that is a great point. We are 12-7 and the only person batting over .300 of our regular starters is Kendall and the next closest is Hart in the .270's. Once Braun, Fielder, Weeks and Hardy begin to heat up a bit and I don't think there is any doubt that they won't we will start scoring a ton of runs.

12-7... i hope this means you are a nostradamus of some sort and you know the brewers will win tonight... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

but i couldn't agree with your points any more

Ooops, my bad were only 11-7. But yeah I hope they win in my first regular season game at MP tonight.

I don't need to tell any of you how pivotal this home stand is. I'm hoping the Mets can cool off the Cubs a little, too.

Holy cow. The Cubs are actually playing a good opponent. I thought the Pirates were their Washington Generals.

This probably isn't a IGT post, but I didn't know where else to put it and I doubt it warrants a thread of its own. I just wanted to comment that I finished reading through the Haudricort/Witrado mailbag on jsonline and I can't believe the way those two approach the questions that are asked. Granted, there are some pretty dumb comments and questions in there, but there are also some legit points and questions being posed to them and they are answering many of them with sarcasm and almost combabtive type answers. Some questions are even asnwered with questions back from the two that are supposed to be supplying the answers. I guess what I am trying to say is, if all you are going to do in your mailbag is be insincere and for the most part sarcastic, why even do it? Did they go to the Ned Yost school of Q&A??

My bold prediction for this 2 game series:

in one of the games, we will score 9 or more runs

I hope its tonights game. Got 11:1 odds that the brewers win with a combined score over 8 1/2, and the cubs lose.

How in the heck did you get 11:1 odds for that? It should only be about 7:1

thats basically a 3 bet parlay right there. 11:1 sounds right

I sure would love to know where you bet through then because 11:1 on a 3 team parlay is a dream. Typical 3 team parlays pay about 6 :1 and I said his should pay about 7:1 because both the Brewers and Mets are underdogs tonight, but the over in the Brewer is game is -120
