Reds broadcasters just said that the fact that the players and coaches vote on gold gloves instead of the media is "a joke"

I think the Reds franchise has become a joke. And i think it's a joke that they have such opinionated announcers for such a poor franchise. I guess you do a lot of talking when the product on the field is consistently horrible. Yet, Ueck seems to have handled it well.

Tricep tightness...Sounds oddly similar to the "upper back tightness" he left a game with about a year and a half ago. Of course that turned out to be a torn muscle in his shoulder (the Brewers can refer to it as a back muscle all they want, but the injury was clearly in the shoulder). What's this going to turn out to be? Hopefully just a little tightness, but Sheets history would probably suggest otherwise.

Sheet's new nickname: Mr Glass..

I was suprised to hear it was tightness in his triceps.. his hair was looking shaggy.. I figured he couldn't pitch because he found some split ends like last September.

Ah yes, let the trashing and insults begin!

Like flies to wanton boys is Sheets, they kill him for sport! (Sorry Bill)

Yes.. I fully understand I am being unreasonable and overreacting, however, I am still so mad he couldn't suck it up last September, especially after watching Radke in MN throw all season with a torn shoulder to try to get the Twins in the playoffs.. I will still aruge with anyone that when healthy he is a top 5 - 10 pitcher in the NL but I have little faith in him making an entire year healthy or not playing through pain to get the Brewers in the playoffs so until he proves me otherwise I reserve the right to be a big baby about it.. : )

When he's so good when able (operative words when able) but can't even get through the first three weeks of the season without SOMETHING to happen health-wise, I just don't understand how anyone can say with a straight face that they're not worried, given his history. His NEW nickname is Mr. Glass? I've seen this movie before.
