dodgers outfield

does anybody have a handle on how torre is handling this situation? is there any rhyme or reason to it?

i found this on espn, a fantasy-slanted article that suggests that it will continue to be a jumble (so long as all are healthy) with pierre benefiting most from joe torre's allegiance to established players. and these are the last things that rotoworld has had to say about it:

"The Los Angeles Times reports that manager Joe Torre plans to rest Andre Ethier and start Juan Pierre in Wednesday's series finale against the Pirates. Pittsburgh is starting left-hander Paul Maholm, so benching Matt Kemp in favor of Pierre would have been too much even for Torre. Pierre is currently on pace for 350 plate appearances, which is less than half as much as he played last season and still far too much given the presence of Kemp and Ethier."
and, separately:
"Matt Kemp went 2-for-4 with an RBI triple and three runs scored Tuesday in the rout of the Pirates. That's two more runs than Juan Pierre has scored all season. Kemp isn't exactly setting the world on Friday, but he is 9-for-20 with a homer and two triples in his last six games. It helps that manager Joe Torre has been using Pierre against the tougher pitching, but the numbers make it pretty clear that Kemp is doing more to help the team."
seems like torre has just about everyone baffled on this. i guess i'm posting here to see if anyone has found anything to suggest that match-ups or some other factors are impacting the juggle. yes, the fact that i own matt kemp in at least one of my leagues is a factor in my writing this, but it could also become big trade talk by mid-season if all three are producing.

Joe was no-Torre-ous for over-reliance on vets in NY. One of the main reasons he wasn't retained.

I apologize for the gratutious pun. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/embarassed.gif

What's going on here? Have you hired a personal writer for your posts here? Because you're clearly not clever enough to come up with these on your own.
