By the way, Geoff Jenkins is hitting leadoff today. He's 1-4, but I did see him absolutely crush a line drive that got robbed by the 2B.

He flailed away at a bad pitch for a K in the 1st and popped out with runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out, so you saw the better part of his game.

Yeah that is why I supported the change to start the year. Braun doesn't need the protection as much as Fielder does because they'll go after Braun with junk off the corners no matter what since he swings at everything. I don't think it is going to matter a ton either way though, it isn't like we are the 2006 Giants with nobody batting behind Fielder. They will IBB him sometimes but it won't be out of control.
