One positive note, Braun is back! He went 7-7 fielding the ball tonight, and is shaking off the rust hitting, but scored 2 runs. The time is getting really close!

 

That is the best news I have heard all week!

 

Well it looks like Koskie, Hall and Jenkins all hit Ortiz pretty well. Sucks that Koskie isn't around. But if Hall and Jenks can mash today that would be outstanding.

 

Come on Claudio time to pound meat today!

God I hope not. RF better be Gross, Gwynn or Hart. And I hope to God Yost doesn't pull this batting Graff, Counsell, Pitcher in a row crap again. You have to split them up and bat one of them 2nd. move JJ to 3 Prince to 4.

A win today and the Brewers avoid their first sweep of the season. That's pretty impressive. Despite their bad go of it this week (it's only been a week, but it sure seems like a month) they have not been swept all year.

Sorry for back to back posts, but i'm at the point of the day where I'm really excited for the game. It's so funny how I can go to bed so upset and pissed and not even wanna watch today.....and then I wake up and look at the clock to see how many hours until the lineups are announced. I think I have problems...at least that's what my wife says.

 

How about a lineup of:

Gwynn CF

Gross RF

Hardy SS

Fielder 1B

Estrada C

Jenkins LF

Graffy 2B

Counsell 3B (I WISH Hart could play 3B)

Vargas

 

I know people will object to Hall being out of the lineup and he will probably be in there...but I just like to find ways to get Gwynn and Gross both in there against the Righty. Obviously if Hall is in there just replace either Gwynn or Gross with Hall and shift the rest of the lineup accordingly.

Normally I would agree, but didn't he start the other night? Wednesday I think? Plus with a late night game tomorrow and a day game today, I could see him trying to get through to Thursdays' off day without giving Estrada a day off. Ned knows we need all the bats in the lineup we can get with Counsannino as TWO seperate entities now.

Why does looking at those 4 names make me not even want to turn on the TV? I feel like I'm just setting myself up to be pissed off at 4:00. I'd rather just read about the 4-1 loss after.
