Just wait two months and you'll see it with Gallardo on the mound.

I am hoping the rotation pitches well enough that we can save his arm in Nashville and he can be K-Rod for us in September out of the pen..

Imagine having the following pen in September:

Villy

Thatcher

Capellan

Gallardo

Wise

Turnbow

Coco

Nothing like a bunch of power arms with a change-up specialist in the middle.

I like Braun in the #2 spot this evening. Maybe get those first AB jitters out of the way so he can relax. Of course, that could backfire if he hits into a DP and then he presses in the field in the bottom of the first.

Anyways, good to see him up. Go Brewers! Only an hour to go!

Everytime I see nullbyte's signature I want to do something very hateful, hate sites are best left to lame college types from the south.

Funny, I did go to college in the south http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

As a Brewerfan.net member how could you not love that after how much we have followed this group over the last 4 or 5 years.

Imagine had they all panned out:

CF Krynzel

SS Hardy

2B Weeks

1B Fielder

LF Nelson

3B Braun

RF Hart

C Cap'n Lou

Super UTIL - Bill Hall

I'll take 6 out of 9ish.

That must have been what they had planned that made them decide to hit him leadoff at AAA?

Or was it just to get him as many AB's as possible prior to today in anticipation of him joining the team in SD? Did we ever get a reason for why they hit him leadoff?

I really wish this team would go back to working the count instead of swinging at those first pitches all the time.

Against Maddux you do not try to work the count. The best pitches with him are usually early in the count when he is trying to get ahead. Otherwise, I would agree with you.
