Ok Billy, can you see the BIG E on the top line?

Hammer

Check out this new article on Brewers.com. I would love to hear why in the hell a man that plays professional baseball (outfield at that last year) without being able to see properly. C'mon Billy, get with the program. At least the medical staff made him correct this MORONIC behavior...

I didn't know I needed glasses. I got them last August. I hit 70 points better in Fall league than in Spring and my defense improved. It's amazing how good the world looks when you first wear glasses.

The odd thing is that Billy was wearing contact lenses and stopped... and that he hit 35 homers without them.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

It can go the other way though. I was pretty consistent .500 to .550 softball hitter until I got glasses. My fielding regressed, I lost my power, dropped 150 points, the manager told me he'd cut me if I didn't take them off. Can you imagine the humiliation of being cut by an over 50, glorified pick up, any excuse for a beer, team?

Glasses can distort in ways contacts likely won't. They'll definitely improve the overall "picture," but they may suck a bit when it comes to picking up detail.

Hall has so much natural power, when he really drives the ball, his swing looks almost effortless. I'm glad he's seeing better, I'm glad he's back in the infield - I'm just glad he's back, period.

A solid year out of Hall makes this team an absolute monster offensively.

I am not sure what player this was, but I remember a feature on a San Diego Padre player undergoing "vision therapy" leading to him increasing his numbers the following season. It became a trend on the team causing Trevor Hoffman to join in the "vision therapy" program.
