Sleeping problems

from what I've heard, sleeping pills don't put you in deep REM sleep anyway so they don't do much good.

When I used to have trouble falling asleep, it was usually because of stuff going on in personal life or work and my mind would race. I learned some relaxation techniques and that helped. Bascially, you just focus on totally relaxing each muscle in your body. Start at your toes and slowly work your way up to the top of your head. It's kind of like counting sheep I guess but it worked for me.

Have you tried cutting back to just one pill? I use PM on occasion and often I feel more bajiggiddy than I did before I take them, almost like I took a NoDoz instead of a sleeping pill. I think there's a sub-conscious thing that happens in terms of over-thinking the whole thing and worrying about falling asleep and worrying about over-sleeping and just thinking about the whole thing too much. Your mind's working too much.
