We're still very much in this ballgame. Enough of the "we're done" comments. Our offense is very potent....and has played like winners this season....so they deserve the benefit of the doubt that they can potentially dig themselves out of a small hole.

Bush was decent overall, it was just was the collection of his starts the last 3 seasons that are starting to wear on everybody. As a starting pitcher, you should be able to get beyond 5 innings so your bullpen isn't overworked. Also, he doesn't pitch like a winner. The Reds gift him a lead and he promptly turns around and relinquishes it. Who knows how badly he would have been abused had he stayed in the ballgame?

Let's recap:

Hart doesn't think Phillips is going to tag on a short fly - two runs score

Prince is picking his armpit - balk, runner takes third on a hit, later scores on sac fly which led to.....

Braun makes a crap throw to second on fly ball - runner advances, later scores on a ground ball on a hit and run where the hit was a ground ball to the spot the third baseman vacated to cover the base

I don't see how any of this is Dave Bush's fault.

Thank you homer for bringing some people back to reality. It is hard to get the built in "Bush sucks" thing out of peoples head and give them a clear picture. Plus the early brewer success has given everyone the expectation of never giving up more than a couple runs apparently.

Lord you read some of these posts you'd think the Brewers were 1 - 6.

I'm sorry. I overreacted. We can still win the game of course. Fans being fans. Whatever. Dave Bush is NOT good. We have to have someone better. Right?

NO? Melvin should get someone then. Maybe the guy who was included in the Bush trade could be of help. Shouldn't matter though..If this rotation isn't Sheets, Soup, Yo, Villy, and Parra it's just stupid. The management says they want to win right? Dave Bush does not give you a good chance to win.
