I noticed that too. I don't think its really that big of a deal. Unlike Nomar it doesn't take him 20 minutes in between pitches to do. I also noticed that between every pitch in the field he takes his glove off, don't really know what to make of that?

James isn't going anywhere near the inside corner against the righties. Everything is on the outside corner. Weeks and Hall have to stop trying to pull everything or it'll be a long day for them.

Weeks RISP: .209/.349 slugging and dropping

RISP + 2 outs: .194/.226 slugging and dropping

close and late: .150/.542 OPS (deceptively high really)

proving why I've always called him the anticlutch superstar

Estrada should have scored, but he showed no awareness of the situation. As usual lately, we're doing everything to prevent us from scoring runs.

Estrada sucks at pitch calling. Why call a high fastball, to Andruw Jones no less, after Cappy has done fantastic all day keeping the hitters off balance with the changeup? High fastballs are not Cappy's game.

How did Andruw Jones even make contact with that pitch? It was four inches outside and shoulder-high.

Chuck James is staying a few inches outside and the Brewers keep flailing at it.

Which is baffling to me. Go the other way with it, guys! He hasn't come inside all day!

If things don't change in the 5th, the Brewers streak of innings without a lead will have ballooned to 50.

And 45 of those 50 innings have been innings in which the Brewers trailed (in other words, they've only tied at the end of 5 of the last 50 innings).

Too depressed to look back further than that.

Edit: Oops didn't add the first 3 innings of today. SO they've been tied at teh end of 8 of those innings . Everyone feel much better?

Take the out at home... whomever made the call to cut that one off made the wrong call.

Can anyone help me out here? I am really speechless for the first time ever. Why are we so bad now all at once? Everything is bad.

Defense, pitching, baserunning, managing, plate discipline, and hitting all bad.

Bill Hall continues to make me wonder too. Is there any good news out there besides the Central being god awful?
