doubles streak in 2008 and 2007

i seem to recall the brewers opening the 2007 season with a pretty lengthy doubles streak. does anyone remember how many consecutive games they got two-baggers in? and did it start with opening day?

 

counting today, the brewers have doubled at least once in every game played, so the current streak is at 5. it's at 10 if you go back to 26 september 2007.

a couple doubles yesterday puts 2008's streak at 6 and the overall streak at 11.

the streak ends at 6 and 11 overall. i seem to recall that 2007's streak was in the double-digits.

 

can anyone verify?

The Brewers opened 2007 with a 28-game doubles streak, which was far and away their longest such streak of the season.

 

They had a 17-game HR streak last year, too (decided to look it up out of curiosity).

if i just heard bob uecker correctly, the brewers have a 21-game doubles streak. can anyone confirm?
