Funny how a big game can change minds very quickly seeing he has been kinda shaky in there the last week.

Thanks. We got the point in your previous post.

Even if he's been grounding into DPs he's been hitting the ball right on the nose. That's encouraging.

this will really irk me if he lets CV hit and then pulls him for turnbow....if he wanted to take him out, at least put a decent hitting pitcher in...like Dave Bush...

alright, i stand corrected....he left CV in....

I was hoping Braun would put up a .700 or so OPS, so I've been very pleased so far.

As for the 2 DPs he hit into in the one game, he hit both those balls very hard, just right at the SS both times.

edit. Yes I know it's a small sample, but I don't expect it to change, he hits pretty much everything hard.

Turnbow did NOT look happy when he was talking to Castro in the bullpen. I am watching the WGN feed just to get the game in a different perspective and it looked like Turnbow was pissed that he had to warm up and get ready only to sit back down. I can imagine that's frustrating for a relief pitcher.

If my "hand-gesture-translation" skills are accurate, buy watching the WGN broadcast, Turnbow was saying:

"Why? Why? Seriously. Do I not have the hair? Do I not have the wild skillz? Nedly needs to recognize"

(sets mit down on chair).

"I'm going to sit here and let Nedly think about this."
