Wouldn't it be logical that your BA would be consistent with or without runners on base? The reality is that it's not that simple, but I would guess that's his logic.

The reality is that it's pretty darn close, on average. Look it up yourself. The world at our fingertips!

"If the Brewers win 7 of their next 8, people will be coming out of the woodwork, saying how they never stopped believing and that this team just 'knows how to win'."

And they'd be justified in doing so. I assume that's just a snide observation, rather than a suggestion that the die-hards who've been posting on this site since its inception would rather continue to rack up losing seasons than have to deal with 'bandwagon' fans posting here. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

As an aside, if the Brewers win 7 of their next 8, I'll streak down Water Street. I'd be pretty happy just splitting the next two against the Cubs right now.

So...working in Illinois is not cool when the Cubs beat the Brewers and everyone knows you are an avid Brewer fan and dispise the Cubs. I had two Cubs hats sitting on my desk when I got to work today. Real cool

Brewers, please win.

That is all.

This may not be justified, but I think if Alfonso Soriano leads the game off by getting on base, I may cry. Sadly, I'd be surprised if CV the Elder gets Soriano out to start the game. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

Hope you drank plenty of coffee, sounds like you had your work cut out for you, snipping a deuce in each. Well worth the effort, though.

you should just put up a big poster of the NL central standings on your wall. anyone comes in to try and show you up - just point at it.

Anyone leaving a Cubs hat on my desk will need to fish it out of the toilet to get it back....and wash the tremendous poop out of it. I should probably have a couple of Enchiladas tonight to prepare for tomorrow....

Lord, Soriano is hitting .600 in June with a 1.800 OPS.
