What is more incredible-

20 hits...Only 6 runs?

17 men left on base???

Coco blows another save?

Lofton throws out Gwynn (?!?) trying to score from second on a hit???

This has nightmare-ish, disaster ending written all over it. Good night. And for the record, screw you CB Bucknor...we really needed that run.

Next week when the Tigers and/or Twins send us back to .500, there is no reason that Ned Yost's head shouldn't be on the block.

Yes, good teams have bad stretches. However, playoff teams don't play badly for one whole month.

We still might be talking Packers football in August.

I will be optimistic here. Say we take the lead, do we leave Villanueva on the mound to close it out and have Shouse/Capellan/Vargas warming behind him in case he gets into trouble?

However, playoff teams don't play badly for one whole month.

The Cardinals played badly for half the season last year. The Astros seem to play badly in the first half every year and find a way to get into the playoffs. The Oakland A's are known for playing average baseball for half the season before making late runs for the postseason. The Twins were bad for the first two months of the season last year. Playoff teams are capable of a bad month or two.

I am watching the game on mlb.tv and TGJ clearly got his hand in before the tag. Just terrible, between this guys strike zone and his calls I am 100% positive that this ump is a Ranger fan.

Someone remind me why Villy isnt in the rotation. Though the guy has been so valuable out of the pen. Not sure I'd want to move him

I think that after tonight we might see a change although Bush was decent.

I see the real JJ Hardy is starting to show now. Whoever was fooled by his .300+ BA earlier must be awfully disappointed now. His history has shown him to be more along the lines of a .250-.260 hitter. He'll end up somewhere in between there in my opinion.
