grr I hate bad baserunning. Getting caught stealing is fine, it happens but why on earth try to steal 3rd with 0 outs and the best part of your lineup about to come up.

Yeah we just handed them back a run there. It could've been a nice 3-run cushion but we screwed it up again on the bases. This is inexcusable against good teams; this kind of stuff seems to come and bite you back later on in the game.

Just an inexcusable baserunning mistake. That has to be on Counsell, I'd be stunned if the manager called for that on a 2-0 to Weeks with nobody out.

I think they keep doing it because so far it hasn't come back to haunt them in the standings, but it will if they keep doing it. Especially against the better teams (as someone else pointed out).

Because nobody in their right mind would try to steal in this situation, hence Yost thought he could get away with it.
