It is kind of ignorant to believe that everything would have happened the same way, had Counsell not been thrown out stealing. Pitch selection, and batter's approach at the plate would have been different.

 

I absolutely agree with you on this point, but by the same rationale it may have changed the following events to the point that the eighth inning would not have happened the way it did.

Unless you want to show me how big losses historically resulted in losing streaks for the Brewers above what would be expected, I'm going to assume you pulled that out of the baseball cliche book.

 

This is one loss and I think the Brewer's talent will serve them well this year.

 

 

Good thing a prolonged stretch of losing baseball following a devastating loss is just a baseball cliche and not something that actually happens in real......
