Matt Wise gives up walk-off homerun

Because the Mets' day wasn't bad enough when Pedro left the game injured, then Matt Wise came in the game in the 10th andgave up the walk-off homerun to Robert Andino - Andino's first major league homer

 

Oh Matt, I miss you not at all!

I watched that game. Wise looked great for the first two batters (striking them both out) and then had Andino behind in the count. Both pens were lights out in that game.

i still think Wise is a fine pitcher, just expendable because he needs so much time off between outings. plus what he did wasn't a whole lot different than Gagne's first appearance.
