If not the Brewers...

Who and why?

My default second team is the Cleveland Indians, my entire extended family is from the Cleveland area. Nothing would make me happier than a Brewers vs. Tribe world series going 7 games with a Brewers walk off HR by JJ Hardy in the 9th at Miller Park that I catch. (Yes I know we won't have home field, but it's my dream)

I also don't mind seeing Minnesota do well (I should hate them but I don't?)

I HATE the Cubs, Braves, Yankees, Marlins (jealousy), and Reds

Sidenote, I would also rather see the Browns win a Super Bowl over the Packers. I have seen the Pack win and have never really embraced them as my team. I defaulted to them after Art Modell was a big doo doo head and took my Browns away.

I also like the Indians. I was a big A's fan in the early 2000's, and still like a lot of players from those teams (Zito, Hudson, Miggy from back in the day). I still like them now but not as much. Don't mind the Twins either, probably cause they're in the AL and they've managed to be pretty good with a pretty low payroll. The only AL teams I actively root against are Boston, New York, and LA, otherwise I don't really mind any teams.

If I had to pick an NL team I think I'd go with the Phillies, except for the fans obviously. I hate the Cubs, don't like the Cardinals, Mets, Astros, etc.

Geesh- I guess I will continue to add the love for the tribe. I have family in the Cleveland area so its always been Brewers and Indians in our family. That and they were in the series when I was finallu starting to follow baseball closely (5th grade)

I like the Indians, which is odd because I hated them when we were in the AL. I don't openly root for them, but they are a team I like.

My second favorite team is the Royals. I fell in love with them when they had that great 2/3rds of a season in 03. I love that stadium too, reminds me a lot of County Stadium.

I also like the A's and the Mariners.

The White Sox, because of their former owner Bill Veeck (owner of the minor league Brewers who tried to move the Browns back to Milwaukee), because it goes with being anti-Cubs while living in the Chicago area and because they tend to be overlooked. I was living out of state during the White Sox fans assaults on County Stadium.

Honestly, I like the Indians in the AL like almost everyone else, but unlike most I cannot cheer for the Twins. I tried in college but I just couldn't do it. I am sure it is mainly out of jealousy. I also like the Red Sox until they got really good. In the NL, I dont know why but I like the Phillies. They were my team in the playoffs last year once the Brewers didnt get in

My whole philosophy in life is based on hating the Yankeees. Good and evil, life and death, disease and wholesomeness all revolves around the black hole currently spinning out of control in New York City. Everything they stand for is dark, puss-like, violent, and despicable. I will not have a friend who backs the Yankees; I will not date a woman who is even indifferent to the pinstripes. Everyone else is good or merely flawed as in the case of the Cubs. Everyone else is worth our support and the Beach Boys' Good Vibrations. Go Indians! Go People! Go Buffalo! Up with People! Yeah Catfish!

I would add to the Indians, my dad is a lifelong Tribe fan and would love to have a beer with him and watch an Indians WS victory, unless against the Crew obviously.

Selfishly I would like to see the Braves as well. I live in Atlanta and have season tickets for work and get to go to about 25 games a year there and have never seen a WS game in person.

Usually it's the Cardinals, but with the new GM among other things, they look like they're not going to be worth following this year. And as of late, I've started to develop a bit of a curiosity in the Rays.

I used to like the Rays until they thought they were too good for the "Devil." Devil Rays was probably the strangest and best name in all of sports. Plus, I can't stand wimps like Baldelli.

I'll go with the A's, Tribe, and Padres. Oh, the Rays too...still like 'em.

I think the Indians hold a special place with most of Wisconsin because of Major League. At least for me they do.

I also agree with Tbadder that the Yankees are everything that's wrong with baseball, and I hate them with the fire of a thousand suns. I once dated a girl who said that all "real" baseball fans have a Yankees hat. Puke. That statement was worth about as much as her.

If I had Braun's pee in my fridge I'd tell everybody.

When I moved back to Florida briefly after college, I was attending A LOT of Rays' games--a half-mile walk to the stadium and the easy availability of walk-up $5 upper deck behind-home tickets.

I still am glad to see them do well but now that I live far away I don't pay attention as much and they don't hav the childhood pull on me that the Brew Crew does: I am, was and always will be a Brewers Fan.

I have to add to the KC love. I had a lot of fun at a game last year. Kaufmann is a completely different, but cool, stadium and their fans have suffered a long time.

I have to say that I have a soft spot for Cleveland for the two completely inane reasons mentioned above: last year's series and Major League.

I like the Diamondbacks.

I somewhat dislike the Angels.

I have mixed feelings about the Red Sox. I like the makeup of the team, but I'm really sick of a lot of the fans.

I think the Yankees may be turning a corner, and am open to rooting for them this year.

I loathe the Cubs.

That is all.
