and the next item is pretty much the same thing. Maybe the April Fool's joke is to just run the same product all day in Woot-off format (sell 200 of them, mark it "sold out" and then put up another 200 of them)

Na, it's really cheap and sometimes you get something sweet out of the deal. I got one once, and all i got was about 10 calendars. No biggie, i gave em out to friends and still got some other cool stuff out of it.

No, I mean, did it really allow me to order one? Or was it a hoax? I put my info into the system, but never got a confirmation, even though it appeared everything went through.

No you are not a sucker. You just were not able to get your order in on time. The BOC is real. I was lucky enough to get one last january. There are so many people ordering when it pops up you have to have a fast connection and get your order in ASAP. I and one of my office mates also missed out this morning. I did the samething you did. It's really a crap shoot if your lucky enough to get one. No pun intended, or maybe?

Lame. I just tried to get the BOC and I thought it went through. I got the order in (purchased 3), and when it went back to the main screen the BOC was still up, so I thought my order was successful. But it still won't put it on my account. I'm very annoyed.
