Brewers' rotation vs. Cubs' rotation

naivin

I have continually heard experts talk about how the difference between the Cubs and Brewers, and the reason the Cubs will win the division is their respective rotations. Interested how people feel about this. Is the Cubs' rotation really appreciably better than the Brewers'? I guess I am just not seeing it. I assume it is largely based on Sheet's DL-ness vs. Zambrano's horse-ness, and that makes some sense to me, but after that...Well, I just think it evens out a bit.

On a somewhat related note, I have also heard that Kerry Wood at the back of the bullpen is an advantage for the Cubs. Come again? This guy has played 9 seasons and has worked a 9th inning something like 10 times total. Couple that lack of any sort of experience with his propensity to break down, and explain to me how Kerry Wood, Closer makes the Cubs better.
