I actually saved my sick excuse and told the truth, as someone up above suggested. Because I had worked too much lately, I got the day off to watch the beauty of that win. Still trying to expose the folks down here to the labor idea about the value of labor, but whatever. The weekend is still the best p.r. Anyway, was able to convince the boss that I had earned the time off. Union forever, and whatnot. Go Tony Jr.
