I was standing in that area behind home plate just before start time and she came up to there and was talking to some suit(probly associated with the telecast) and she already was holding the FSN mic. After the suit left she let out a good sized yawn and I asked her something stupid like,"Late night?" She said there is not enough turnaround time from a nite game to a day game. I warned her it might not be cool to yawn on camera and she responded,"Knock on wood, it hasn't happened so far!" Trenni also said she was kinda feeling run down and hasn't even unloaded her suitcase from the previous road trip and fortunately for her she will not be going on the upcoming trip due to her sister's bacholarette party this weekend. She leaves after talking into the mic to somebody. WELL, I am not used to having a camera with me (I bought one two weeks ago) but it was put into my pocket when I grabbed an Italian beef sandwich and soda. So, of course, a little bit after she walked away I smacked my head (like a V8 commercial) realizing I could have gotten a picture. About 15 minutes or so later I had scoped out a decent seat from my viewpoint (I really didn't want to sit up in the Uecker seats) and had given up hope I might get a mulligan. As I turned around to leave for my seat - there she was. Trenni was just finishing a short conversation with a fellow and I requested the picture. She asked if I wanted to be in the picture and I quickly refused. You know, on the HD telecasts I wasn't as impressed with her appearance as some are in the game chat room.

After seeing and talking with her today I must say she is very nice looking, quite slender, and a bit taller than I envisioned.

as promised, here are a select few shots that I or my wife took this week down in Phoenix. I had to cut it down a bit (we took over 400 pictures!) so these are what we liked best.

Obviously, this is Capuano being interviewed by Craig C. on Monday night, about 10 feet from us.

http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n116/pitchleague/IMG_1663.jpg

this is a nice shot of Weeks playing second.

these two were for hawing

I liked Braun doing his best Hideo Nomo impersonation during warmups before the first inning on Tuesday.

My wife took this one. I like it.

Pre-game stretching. Note the bandage on Braun's wrist.

Yount in the dugout prior to the game. My wife took this one. She wasn't quite tall enough to get the dugout all the way out of the shot.

Here's the weakest hit ball of Russell Branyan's career.

here's a series of shots from a Branyan swing. Shock waves from the mighty swath of air followed.

My wife is very fond of this shot she took of Webb prior to Thursday's game.

Some of the photos I took at the June 22 O's game (section 223 with a pretty average digital camera, so they're not great):

Nice shot of Weeks, Hardy, and Braun all on the on-deck circle while Garrett Olsen warms up

Weeks...his stance looked wider than I remember it being

Hardy

Braun (I was tempted to make an attempt at capturing his entire ritual between pitches, but was running low on batteries)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v285/jami34/100_0662.jpg

Barely caught the end of Ned's tirade on the ump after Manny wasn't getting any borderline calls. The crowd suddenly perked up between pitches and I didn't realize what was happening until the ump was already starting to walk away. Luckily the camera turned on in time.

Nice pictures SeriesFinale.

If I were the pitching mound in that first picture, I would be scared of what's coming at me.

Great work to get Hardy/Weeks/Fielder/Braun all in the same shot.

And am I the only one who dislikes that Chevron sign on the left field wall? I find it a little distracting and incongruous.

My dad, sister, and I all take a ballpark trip each year, we have been to 15 cities now, I don't include County Stadium and Miller Park as two...

Anyway, two weeks ago, we did the Yankees, Mets, and Red Sox, and also the hall of fame...We were driving through Ohio when Sabathia had been traded to the Brewers...The Yankees were first, and we were standing outside Yankee Stadium when a guy came up to us and asked us if we were from Wisconsin, (we were wearing brewers stuff) we said yes, and long story short, he had three extra tickets that he wanted nothing for, and instead of sitting in the upper deck like we always do, we sat the 8th row behind the rays dugout, for FREE!

anyway, here are some pictures, I have about 500 total, but I won't post all...Fenway, was by far the best, and Shea is a dump!

From Saturday at AT&T:

Billy in game:

Corey Hart waving to the kids calling his name. The funny part was when one of the kids excitedly proclaimed, "Corey Hart waved at me!!" It sort of seemed like something you might have heard a teenage girl say in the mid '80s:

Brewers pitchers warming up:
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y55/Kleburger/Brewerpitchers.jpg

More Brewers pitchers warming up. One of the kids hunting for autographs kept calling David Riske "Turnbow" and "Derrick" - "Derrick, sign my ball!", "Turnbow, how about an autograph!" Oops. No wonder he didn't sign. I'm sure Riske loves being confused with Turnbow. Strangely, another kid was calling Mitch Stetter "James Shields". Not sure where he got that. I advised one of the kids who was calling out to get Gagne's signature to give it up and go for Torres's autograph instead. He had a ball signed by Prince and Hart and wanted to get Gagne to sign the ball as well(!!). Gagne's sig probably won't help the ball's value too much:

Gratuitous shot from roller derby that I had to skip to see the Brewer game:

Didn't post much last season, but here's a couple from when I went down to St. Louis in August...I think the McClung one turned out awesome.
