Weather for the game:

Showers and Thunderstorms (90% chance), heavy rain possible, severe weather chance towards evening

Gametime temp: 55 degrees, rising to 60

Winds: Blowing in from RF, 20-25 mph

The best chance of heavy rain is the afternoon/evening, so maybe they can get some of the game in before it rains.

Yikes! Welcome to March baseball up north!

I just have a gut feeling that this game is going to be on Tuesday. Hopefully the rain moves quickly through tomorrow or holds off until after the game on Monday! Opening Day is sooo close that waiting another day would suck!

Cubs fan here. I know, you all hate me. Just wanted to wish you guys luck this year. I honestly think the Brewers are better than the Cubs and as the teams stand today, the Brewers will take the division. However, Jim Hendry never stands pat mid-season if the Cubs are in it. The wild card is whether he will make a good move or a bad move. Either way, it should be an exciting season. After the Bears and Bulls seasons, I need the Cubs to at least be competitive. So at least give us that http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif (and yes I realize offering the Bears futility as a case for pity is a poor decision)

Anyways, I'll be at the park Monday. From what I hear, there is no way it will be rained out. The Cubs are unveiling an Ernie Banks statue, and players like Willie Mays and Hank Aaron will be on hand for the ceremony. What I read is that the Cubs will do ANYTHING they can to get the game in so they don't have to move back the ceremony.

They should try cloud seeding like China is doing for the olympic opening ceremony...

Remember the Family Guy episode where Brian and Quagmire were on "The Bachelorette" and Quagmire ended up getting a rose he had that goofy laugh and everything? That's what I'm going to be like right before first pitch.

Weather update:

Chance of rain reduced to 80% for Chicago, and there remains the chance that the heaviest rain could hold off until evening. So there is hope of getting this in!!

Monday will be my Birthday and my birthday wish is that the Brewers have a 6 run first inning. Zambrano gives up homeruns to Prince and Braunie and his famous attitude shows up.

Good time was had by all.

Oh yah, BREWERS WIN.
