Question about Packers, LambeauLeap, etc...(please don't move until answered at least once)

narbo
I haven't ever posted a new topic before. I haven't even posted a reply in a long time. I am a bit confused about how to sign up for lambeauleap, and how to post a topic there. Ever since this Yuku thing, I have had trouble with the forums here. Please, a little help?

The beauty of this now is that LL, BF, & the BPS are all on the Yuku network. So now, once you register (I think you still have to, anyway), you're 'signed in' on all three sites (& all Yuku sites) once you log in for one.

Use the Labeauleap.net Forum Jump at the top of this page, and see if you're signed in, or if you can.

here is where the problem lies... There's a sign in button on the main page, but no sign up/register button. I tried using the same sign in as my brewerfan one, but it didn't work.

As others have said, your Brewerfan login transfers to LambeauLeap.

You'll need to be approved for membership, but rest assured that you won't have an issue being admitted to post. We tried "inviting" members, which is supposed to bypass the approval thing. However, a bug in the system means that everyone--even the moderators--have needed to be approved.

You can bring up the MBA (application) page by hitting the Reply link in any post. However, I can short-cut you to it:

Peavey and I have been pretty expeditious about approving new members, so you shouldn't have to wait very long.

EDIT: The second link And That posted will get you to the board itself.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Ok, you're not a member over there at this point from what I can tell.

If you click on one of the forums and go all the way to the bottom, there should be a 'New Topic' button (or just click add reply to an existing one), and you should be prompted to apply for approval.

At first, the home page. There's a button to sign in on the home page, but no sign up or register button. On the forum pages, there's no button to add a topic. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, all I wanted to know is if anyone remembers the guy that used to do Packer mock drafts for AM1070. He had his own site, and went to great lengths to research all the players and needs of the Packers. He put out a PDF file for people to download of his findings and his picks. I haven't looked for it in a while (about 2 years) and now I don't remember his name and can't find anything to lead me in his direction.

I just applied. Thank you guys.

I signed up for LL quite a while ago and when I made my first post I was told that it needed to be checked by the site admin/moderators before it would be posted. I received an e-mail from one of the mods telling me that I was OK'd to post. Even after being OK'd, I've been getting the same message about my posts needing to be reviewed before they are allowed on the board. Is there any way around this or is this just the policy on LLeap? It wouldn't bother me but some of the threads are more of a running conversation and by the time my post is reviewed it may no longer be relevant to the discussion.

It's not a policy, so something must be up. I didn't notice anything out of whack with your permissions over there, so try again tonight, and if it still doesn't work, post here again and let us know.

Thanks Peavey, I appreciate it. I'll try to post something this evening if I'm around and let you know how it goes. I really appreciate all the work that you guys put in on the boards and LLeap is definitely one of my favorite Packer message boards.
