Cubs up early 2-0, Big Z strike out 3 in the 1st. 2IP 4 k's. This is the Carlos that scares me.

Cubs are leading 2-0 in the top of the 4th. Big Z is absolutely dealing with 7 Ks through 3 innings. Of course, the White Sox have been pretty awful as of late.

Zambrano is just ridiculous right now. In his lat 28 2/3 IP, he's given up 3 ER and has 33 K's. Regression to the mean in a serious way. What a great pitcher, too bad the Cubs didn't decide to keep Barrett over him.

 

And the punter got hurt again. He just came off the DL today and had to leave after the top off the first. Vintage Erstad. That is a brutal offense, just loaded with guys who make outs. But Erstad was the grittiest, stubbliest son-of-a-gun they had.
