woogie is a JDLR fan as well, no hateful picture of him...

So, Dave Bush is being skipped?

Nope. Ned just wanted to keep Soup on his regular 4 days rest. Instead of both Soup and Bush working with 6 days rest. Ned has it lined up like this..

Fri: Soup vs. JDLR

Sat: Bush vs. Bannister

Sun: Yo vs. Odalis Perez

Mon: Sheets vs. Jennings

Tue: Vargas vs. Wandy

Wed: Soup vs. Woody

I smell another 10-9 game.

Lets be on the winning end of it this time, boys. JDLR has been pretty bad his past few starts, and I am sure he will be amped up considering he gave up a walk-off Wednesday night and is coming back to Milwaukee.

Grienke's coming out of the pen now? Wasn't he one of the best starting pitching prospects in baseball like 15 minutes ago? I really don't follow the AL close enough.

Soup is overdue for a cruise control outing, and I say he gets it here. I have a feeling JDLR will either be really bad, or very good (like 7 IP, 1 ER good). Even if he's very good, I think the Crew finds a way to win.

The last time the Brewers were in a game where both starting pitchers once pitched for the opposing team was 8/7/02, when Glendon Rusch and the Brewers beat Jeff D'Amico and the Mets, less than seven months after they switched teams as a part of the Burnitz for junk trade.

It sure would leave a sour taste in my mouth if a former Brewer / soft tossing lefty / rookie / any pitcher on a bad team, beat the Brewers.

Wow, that doesn't leave many options for an opposing pitcher to win and not leave a bad taste in our mouth. Maybe we just don't like out team losing? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

This game and series is looking favorable for the Brewers. The Royals used up most of their bullpen in their 14 inning game on Wednesday. De La Rosa even came in and pitched the 14th. Also of note is that De La Rosa is 0-5 with a 9.36 ERA in his last six appearances.

I was a big JDLR apologist when he was a member of our beloved Crew. Hopefully someone else in Kansas City can be the new JDLR apologist.

Soup, time to deliver today. Gritty Vet vs. Not reaching his potential kid.
