According to Rotoworld...

 

Doug Davis (thyroid cancer) underwent successful surgery on Thursday.

Davis has targeted Arizona's series in Chicago from May 9-11 for his return, which would have him on the earlier side of his projected 4-to-6 week recovery.

I don't know what would impress me more, iff DD is pitching within a month of having his surgery or DeRosa coming back after minor heart surgery during spring training. Either way, I wish them both the best.
Everything I've ever known, I've learned from Brewerfan.net....Seriously though
