Look guys, the Badgers didn't deserve to win, but if you can't see that the refs at least were calling it real tight on one end, and not on the other, I guess I don't know what game you were watching.

Like I said, there was one possession where there were three cheapies called on Davidson that evened it out in the first half. All of them could have easily been let go. I don't have any idea why the NCAA and the officials would conspire against UW. As low as ratings would be with the Badgers playing, they'd be even lower with a 1,700 student school playing (not to mention selling tix to fill these giant stadiums). It'd be a disaster for them.

The ratings would be lower with the darlings of America advancing? Get real. This isn't the NBA brettac. This is what the NCAA tournament is all about.

And again, before anyone else piles on me, the Badgers played awful and deserved to lose either way. But it didn't help at the beginning of the second half to be playing Davidson AND the refs.

I honestly have no idea what you're talking about in regards to this.

Well Davidson was in the bonus with 16 minutes to play. Meanwhile Curry blatantly reached in and knocked a Badger off the ball and nothing called. That's just one example. Ticky tack calls on Wisconsin from the get go. Nothing called on Davidson. That's what I'm talking about.

I watched the same game you did and saw no bias from the refs. Yea Davidson was in the bonus quick, but the refs quickly called a bunch of fouls against Davidson and a few minutes later we were in the bonus. On the game the refs called 19 fouls vs Davidson and 13 against the Badgers.

I didn't see anything like that UW/Michigan St game in the Big Ten tourney where the refs fouled out half of the Michigan St team. I never once was sitting there in this second half thinking, man these refs are killing the Badgers. I did though think man these dumb turnovers and allowing so many open shots is killing the Badgers.

I was really impressed with Curry. He is in the mold of a Steve Alford or Tony Bennett. However I think that he is a better shooter, and has a wider variety of shots, than those guys did. I was disappointed with the Badgers inability to adjust tonight. They needed to play defense further out on the floor and they didn't. They needed to open up the lane for back-cuts to counter Davidson's pressure. They didn't.

The Badgers had a great season. They deserve to be commended for it. Davidson was just better tonight.

Yeah, the ratings would suck. Guaranteed.

Then every single medium in the United States is dumb for the coverage this week. And they'll be even more dumb if they happen to beat Kansas. This is college basketball, the NCAA tournament. Ratings don't go down when Cinderellas advance. But Krabbenhoft is a chump and a bust too, right?

So Curry didn't travel there danzig? That's all I'm asking. Save the other crap please.

By the time the Badgers were down 15-19 points with a few minutes left, i wasn't closely watching or caring if Curry shuffled his feet given the game had already been over for awhile. That would be like getting angry because refs in a Packers game blew a offsides call with a few minutes left and the Packers were down by 24 points.

Danzig, he clearly traveled. I don't care what the score was. The end result was "another magnificent play by Curry." It happened more than once tonight, when the score wasn't lopsided. Curry is the best player in the country. But he was treated like Michael Jordan tonight. Who also got the benefit of the doubt throughout his NBA career, making him better than what he as, even if he was the best. That's all I'm saying.

The Badgers lost the game, but the tone was set early in the second half. Davidson just made their shots to capitalize off the refs generosity.

Bucky just got flat-out beat. They were way off in the second half. I really thought they could clamp down and grind it, in classic Bo style, but it wasn't to be.

I did scream "Swallow the whistle!" a couple of times, but it went both ways. (Wisconsin got four calls on a single offensive possession.)

I still remember when his dad Del Curry played for the Bucks, his kid inherited or learned that same amazingly quick release on his jumper. That's why you can see he's so hard to defend. When he catches a pass, he only needs a fraction of room to get that deadly jumper off.

Over the years, generally the small school teams who manage to surprise and advance are teams that can drill three pointers. Get hot from behind the arc and it's the great equalizer in college ball. In that run by Davidson, they hit 4 or 5 three pointers in a shorts span. Suddenly, a close game was a 12-15 point margin and the Badgers were out of their element trying to play catch up.

I guess I didn't see this over the top coverage you're referencing. I think you have this major little man thing with anything involving Badger sports, so that anytime someone doesn't go out of their way to praise them, they are somehow slapping them in the face, and that gets old. They won't beat Kansas, and I don't think the ratings will be very good in that game.

And yeah, Krabbenhoft is a disappointment, as far as I'm concerned. He played like garbage tonight, and his lack of aggressiveness is maddening.

Just so you know, I had the Badgers in the Elite 8, so it's not like I hate them or something. I'm a fan, I'm not Don, here.

Brett, I never said the Badgers didn't get beat tonight. You didn't see the over the top coverage on Davidson this week? I don't know what to say to that. Really, don't know what to say, how much time do you spend away from this website?

Little man thing? Give me a break, that's nice. I didn't care that the Badgers get no respect, you're confusing me with someone else. This was a disappointing game the way the Badgers played. I guess the little things I saw were in my imagination.

That stretch where UW got caught up chucking 3 pointers and not getting inside..a guy like Hughes that can penetrate and create his own shot (albeit poor ones at times) really would have helped.

Well, i'm obviously not going to change your mind, but you're the only Badgers fan in a couple forums i browsed that thought the refs played even a very minor role in the loss, much less a big one. I was going to check out Scout.com, i'm curious to see if i'll see a single fan upset with the refs.

You said i don't know what game you were watching, but you're the one pretty much by yourself who was upset by the refs. Curry got his points against the Badgers the same way he did the first two games and on the season where he averaged nearly 26ppg, teams couldn't figure out a way to stop him. So far he's dropped 40/30/33 on good teams, i think he deserves all the hype he's getting.

Props to Bo though, i thought the Badgers would be pretty good this year, but certainly not 31-5.
