Vargas has been a very lucky/mediocre fifth starter, and you can't complain too too much about the results I suppose, but how about a nice solid showing, where BA doesn't have to use the term "Magic Man" after each inning.

Nothing against Counsell, who has performed admirably, but tonight we should see the Fielder/Weeks/Hardy/Braun infield - looks awfully good on the lineup card.

 

Hopefully Prince's bomb last night is a sign that he's back on the good foot after a mini-slump. Would be nice to score a boatload of runs for Vargas. Even though he's been scarily effective all season long, CV isn't the kind of pitcher you feel can control a game, like Sheets or Capuano when they're in a groove.

According to a post from Will Inman Fan, Will has mono which could more than explain his troubles. Hopefully he gets well soon and we can see what he can really do.

 

Perhaps Woogie could swap the Inman tracker for a Parra tracker. He seems to have adjusted adequately to his promotion.
