Batman or Indiana Jones?

With the Batman series continuing with The Dark Knight this summer and the Indiana Jones series getting new life with Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, I was wondering which of the two movies people are looking forward to more. Personally, I think that batman is going to be a better movie, do better at the box office, and go over better with the critics. With that said, Indiana Jones holds a special place in my heart and I can't wait to see the new movie. It won't be as good, but I'm looking forward to it more. I'm sure that these two movies will be compared a lot as they are both coming out this summer and appeal to the same action/adventure audience.

I'm looking forward to both but I believe The Dark Knight will be a way better movie. If it's anything like Batman Begins, it should be amazing. I like how it goes back to the darker side of Batman (more along the lines of Tim Burton's originals). Indiana Jones was awesome but that was over 20 years ago. I'll still see it but I really don't think it will compare to the originals.

 

On a side note, with the new Snake Eyes pics that came out a few days, I'm really starting to get pumped for the G.I. Joe movie. I know it's still a year and a half away but if the rest of the cast looks as cool as Snake Eyes, it should be amazing. Watchmen comes out next May as well and from everything I've seen, it looks stellar. Everything so far has matched the original novel almost exactly. I'm way fired up for that.

 

Edit: To me, there's only 4 Batmans. The two after Tim Burton were absolute garbage. Batman is one of the coolest superheroes out there and it's nice to see a good movie with him again. I just wish Tim Burton would have continued after Returns and done something with the Riddler and Two-Face.

Batman Dark Knight for sure. "Begins" was badass with Bale as Batman now. This new one looks even better and darker. Looking forward to seeing the late Heath Ledger playing The Joker.
