After seeing the stat that was shown earlier on FSN, I almost feel like if the Brewers start struggling in August or something I kinda want someone to no-hit 'em again so they can go on another tear

If I had Braun's pee in my fridge I'd tell everybody.

If you can't wear out Marquis the traditional way, just shatter your bat into his face. Boy that looked bad.

With the state the Cubs pen is in Marquis will have to pitch with a few splinters in his face.

I think we're fine with long relief if Bush completely implodes, Claudio Vargas probably could pitch a couple innings today, then we can piece the rest together with Spurls, Wise, Villanueva, etc.

Sluggish Start. Ick.

Let's be patient and get to Marquis.

Also, this series feels eerily like the Mets series...Weekend series, Thursday day off, 14 games over .500 coming in...Lose a close one on Friday, win a blowout on Saturday...

We got killed by the Mets on Sunday, let's not do that again.

Yeah he's been too inconsistent all year. Driving me nuts. But like I said, I know how good he is/can be so Ive stuck by him.

By the way, Rickie Weeks close to falling into the .220's BA wise.

Yeah. His progress is so far behind the other prospects, it's not even funny. And he was one of the first ones to get called up. He had a 2 year head start on Braun, and Braun is already light-years ahead of Weeks as a hitter. Weeks has been a huge disappointment in my eyes.

He's fine for the 8-spot in the lineup though. He'll take a walk, and has some pop. Hopefully, he can pull it all together at some point, but it's looking more and more like he might end up being an .775 OPS 2B, which isn't terrible, but it's certainly not what we'd hoped for or expected from him.

3-1, 3.51 ERA, .646 OPS against looks pretty good to me in June for Bush.

That's exactly what I said. Pretty good. Not great. He had 2 quality starts, and 2 non-quality starts. He didn't strike out a lot of batters, and his WHIP was about average.

Brewers of today look a lot like the Cubs of yesterday. Now this is typical Bush, there should be 2 outs with a runner on 1st and no runs in this inning, instead there are runners on the corners, no outs and a run in.
