3TO really didn't know

polwonks

OK, so this could be in "spring training stories," but for the benefit of the 3TO folks, I was talking to Russel yesterday after the back lot game (where he fanned twice)- told him he had quite a following on brewerfan.net and that he was approaching cult status. He said he had no idea he had that kind of following in Beertown and on the net. I told him to log on but didn't tell him about the 3TO bit. Oh well.

So watch out, he may be lurking in the future if there's another outbreak of Russel the Muscle exchanges..

I told him to log on

What? Russell Branyan doesn't log on to the internet. The internet logs on to Russell Branyan.

Approaching cult status?

Seriously, Russell, if you're reading this, we love you. Even if a whole bunch of us spell your name "Russel Branyon".

Ok I wasn't around when he was with the Brewers a few years back so what does 3TO mean http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

3 true outcomes. Either a homerun, strikeout or walk.

of course one of the great forefathers of the 3TO movement is our very own Rob Deer. If you ever want to see some amazing 3TO stats, look no further than Deer's last year in 1996. 50 AB / 30 SO / 14 BB / 4 HR. wow!

Rob Deer was one of my favorites growing up. Still have an autographed baseball sitting on a bookshelf in my apartment. That stat right there absolutely blows my mind!
