"Hellacious road trip"...the Crew is playing the Nationals and the Pirates. Regardless of past history in PNC Park, we should have had at least a winning record this series. If the Brewers don't make the playoffs by a couple games this week is really gonna sting.

Sure they can. Good teams lose series to bad teams all the time, especially on the road.

 

It's baseball. In a short series, where pitching matchups play a key role, you can't expect to win a road series, even against an inferior team.

please people stop with the its baseball. We get that its baseball, really we do. The Brewers should beat the Nats and a crappy pitcher and had better start winning these games because they are going need them in the end.

If people actually 'got it' we wouldn't have to say it all the time. A 3-4 sample of games is completely useless when judging a team, we could lose 4 games to the worst team in baseball and it wouldn't mean a thing. We could sweep the Red Sox 4 games and it really wouldn't mean anything either. Thats why they play 162 games and why the best teams don't go to the world series every year.
