I've been pretty forgiving of Yost's bullpen management this season since there is so much behind who gets used and doesn't that we just don't know about. This inning was a disaster though, no excuse at all for Capuano to be out there that long.

Is Ned saving the bullpen for tomorrow? Cappy was good thru 5, we just took the lead, this is one of those games you can manage differently. This guy has the imagination of an insect. God I can't stand Yost, then he leaves Capuano out there to die.

If we had a decent manager and I mean even a decent manager I wonder what our lead in the division would be. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I second the Yosted post. I realize you can't just pull a guy that quickly, but once 5 straight batters reached base, Capuano should have been out.

100% on Ned this time. Just off the disabled list, only threw 5 innings last game and you leave him in for 100 pitches on a 90+ degree day with high humidity. Just brainless. He should have been ready to come out after the walk to Jimenez who can't hit past the mound on a fly if he hammers it. Pathetic.

Well, that oughta do it.

Great series, way to lose a series to the freaking Nationals and give up 7 runs, maybe more now.

How about learning to play some baseball on the road, Brewers, instead of just the friendly confines of Miller Park. It shouldn't be that much of a disparity.

At least the Cubs are losing.

A 3-7 road trip against the Pirates, Nats, and Cubs to end the first half isn't exactly what I was hoping for.

So Yost is the one that walked the leadoff hitter?

Then Yost threw a pitch right down the middle?

Then he walked 2 more guys?

Face it, that home run was the end of the game, it didn't matter what Yost did. It's not like Wise is doing any better.
