Wow. I was watching Weeds online when Memphis went up 9 with 2:13 left, next time I looked they were up 2. Kansas has all the momentum in the world right now up 6 in OT.

Packer said at the beginning of OT that Kansas has history with OT in championship games, because in 1957 they went against UNC in 3 OT's in the final. I bet most of the players' parents weren't born then.

what a great game! Poor Memphis kids, you could see a little panic on their faces when they were missing free throws at the end. That shot by Chalmers was one of the great all time shots in a final.

yep, pretty sure that one will be like Jordan and Keith Smart, among others, in the annals of all-time NCAA highlights in the championship.

 

Quite a great game all right.

 

Memphis kinda choked things away with a big lead late and not hitting their free-throws.

Amen. I just hope I didn't piss of my neighbors -- I just flat-out yelled when that shot went in! Unbelievable game, let alone the finish. Poor Memphis... if Dorsey doesn't pick up what was like his 3rd foul taken out trying to hedge the guard on ball screens, those free throws probably never have to be game-changing. Either that, or they don't get slaughtered in OT.
