UNC and Wisconsin can't play in the finals; you have your Final Four pairings wrong

I believe that they can meet in the finals. I was under the impression that once the Final 4 teasm are set, the teams are reseeded. I might be completely wrong in that regard but if I was right the matchups under my scenario would be UNC vs West Virginia and UW vs Texas in the semifinals. Don't take my word for it that they actually reseed, I might be completely wrong

EDIT: Nevermind, I am pretty sure that the seeds are locked according to region so UNC would play UW in the semis

downright horrible analysis. Just completely wrong.

That should be their slogan. That, or, "Shouting louder than you since 1979"

Wow the Tennessee v Louisville game might have been the most exciting game of the tournament. What a high energy dunk fest. I love the tourney!

Tomorrow will hopefully bring a Bucky win and some more exciting games.

Announcers...those guys are usually spot on.

C'mon. I find it funny how many casual fans think they're more qualified or know more than the guys who've played or coached the game. I know it's kinda the "cool" thing to do, to rip on the announcers, but I really like the guys CBS has right now.

The kid from Western KY had 3 guys in his face and was fading away on his game winner. Hardly what I'd call a good look or even well run play.

How was that a fade away? More to the point, how was that not a well run play? They had the in-bounder sprinting down the coach, they drew the defense in, and he got a fairly open shot. Because three guys jumped up in a useless attempt to block the shot doesn't mean they almost got it. They really weren't that close.

I gave up on TN-LV with about 15:00 left in the 2nd half. Too much chaos and too many turnovers with what appears to be no plan. It's the way both teams play and they're good at it but with 2 teams like that facing each other I found it very frustrating and not enjoyable.

Yeah -- I agree 100%. I was disappointed in that game, because I thought it was the best matchup. Both teams looked out of control. The WVU-X game was a good one though.

The problem with these Cinderella teams (WKY, Davidson) is that when the dance is finally over for them, they usually get a rude exit. That said -- I am hoping 'Nova can give KU a run and I am hoping that Stanford v. Texas is a great game.

Yeah it was a sloppy game, but I definitely wouldn't say it's the way Louisville plays. They're easily one of the best defensive teams in the country and one of the best left in the tourney.

Yeah, Tenn-Louisville was brutal. That's Tennessee though, organized (or not so organized) chaos. When their press is working, they're great. When it's not, they're chickens with their heads cut off.

Biggest surprise of the night so far (other than the Badgers being tied at half)? Stanford, with the Lopez twins, jacking up 3 pointers and not getting the ball down low every play. Texas is really playing them tough, and I'm extremely surprised at that. I have Stanford winning this game.

Well, it's not over, but rooting for Louisville doesn't feel too great right now. They can hang with them, but they've got to maybe think about stopping the press (which is like asking Bo Ryan to play a zone) and starting to box out.

I have Kansas beating UCLA, so I'm sitting pretty good right now. I also have Texas in the Final Four, beating Memphis.

Looking back, I probably should have picked UNC over Louisville, but everyone was, so I figured I'd pick UL. Still, if I get 3/4, and have that play out for me, I've got a pretty good shot at like $100 at work, which isn't too bad.

Billy Packer: 'Memphis PG Derrick Rose, will you marry me?'

I know Packer finds his one 'harping point' & repeats it constantly each game, but I've never seen him have such a man-crush before.
