Does anyone remember a ball-glove logo beach towel giveaway? For my birthday this week I received just such a towel, sealed in its original plastic bag. Based on its specific logo, with the "milwaukee brewers" lettering, I'm guessing it's from the mid to late 1980s:

The towel is mostly gold on the front and white on the back. I like it as an item, so I'm not interested in its monetary value; but I am just curious whether it started as a SGA or simply a fan store item from back in the day. My mother found it at a rummage sale.

I'm not familiar with that towel. I have not attended "towel day" before, so I'm not much help with that.

But I think all of the stadium giveaway stuff has been tied in with sponsorship deals. . .like there would be a Coke logo or SuperAmerica or some other thing to identify the promotion sponsor.

So my guess is that it was a retail item. . .or perhaps did they shoot that out of one of those guns, like the t-shirt cannon?

Good point on a giveaway item most likely having a sponsor's name or logo. There is nothing but the Brewers' logo on the towel.

I was mildly surprised to come across a Brewers item I'd never seen or heard of before. But then again, the mid-to-late 1980s was before our season ticket era, so I wasn't attending as many games then.

For what it's worth, the towel is pretty large at 60" long, so it would take quite a cannon to shoot it.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

depending on the ticket, maybe 10-20? They had some bigger ones with County on there that are pretty nice. I believe the same with Miller Park?

I don't know how much the Brewers coin pack would be worth. I went outta my way to get all the Packers ones they did awhile back, and I now I don't think it was worth spending 3/4 bucks a pop on em. Probably whatever you paid for it, maybe a little less. Though if you find the right buyer, you could get 20 bucks more than you paid. It's just hard to get someone to pay 100 (give/take) for a coin set. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here, since I'm in the same boat as BCZF.

The three pack Pepsi set usually goes for anywhere between 50-75 on eBay.

I just picked up the 09 Sounds Braun bobble- any guess what it is worth? I just want to make sure I made a good deal. Haven't seen many posted on ebay except the one that I got on a BIN. Thanks!

$30-$50 depending on the time of year.

How much could I/should I expect to get for a 2011 Milwaukee Admiral/Brewers Bob Uecker bobblehead with box?

Also, how much less value does a bobble have if it doesn't come with a box? I was debating whether or not to put me entire collection up for sale, but I don't have boxes for the majority of them.

$25-$35 for the Uecker bobble.

Re boxes: I think it depends on the buyer. Some people will only buy if the box is included while others do not care. I don't think the lack of box really decreases the value of the bobble, but you will have less people interested in purchasing it.

You can probably get $20 each for the blues, some a little more, some a little less...

Just started collecting them myself, and have paid anywhere from $12.50 (cooper, simmons) $15.50 (molitor) and $20 (gantner)...

Just curious what the following would approximately be worth:

With COA's:

Yovanni Signed Baseball

Braun Signed Baseball

Limited Edition Prince Signed and Framed Picture (running over tyler greene, one of 28)

Without COA's but they are legit:

Eddie Matthews signed t-shirt (framed)

Hank Aaron Autographed Poster of record breaking homer (huge, approximately 5 ft x 3 ft)

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Assuming the balls are sweet spotted in blue ink...

Yo: $30-40

Braun: $40-50

Prince picture: ?

Matthews: what kind of shirt? Professional frame?

Aaron: ? I'd love to see a picture of it though.

I've included pictures of the Prince Fielder and Matthews pieces. My great uncle is the one who owns the Aaron poster. His enitre basement is filled with memorabilia from milwaukee greats (Spahn, Matthews and Aaron). He used to go on cruises with many of the players back in the day and became good friends with them and their families. He's actually the one that gave me the matthews shirt. The one piece that I always remember of his is his poster, it is just awesome, I asked out of pure curiosity on that one, but if I get a chance to take a picture someday, I will share.

I'm not great at inserting pictures, so I appologize for size.

Thanks

I moved about a year ago and was going through the boxes today. I found a pink bat Bill Hall bobble and was wondering if it was worth anything. I looked on Ebay but none were available. I generally just give my bobbles to kids at the stadium or to friends with kids, nieces, nephews, whatever.

at one point the bill hall bobble probably coulda fetched close to 50. now it's come down. I've seen it go for anywhere from 25-35 lately. I think if you were looking to sell it, someone around here would pay 30 for it. you can also put "bill hall retro bobblehead" into your search, then go to "advanced" then click on "auctions ended" or something like that to get a better idea.

How rare is the Corey Hart Bowling Green Hotrods bobblehead? (Given away on 08-18-2011, featuring Corey in his high school uniform.) I had never seen one listed until recently. The ccd7 guy has one up on Ebay, with a B.I.N. of $89.95. Anyone get it cheaper? There haven't been any sold on Ebay in the past 15 days.

I had never seen one either, didn't even know it existed until I saw that listed last week.

Since I haven't seen any of those listed before, I would assume it is pretty rare, but would I pay $100 for it shipped without other auctions to compare it to? No.

I wonder how many were given out?
