So Gwynn supposedly doesn't strike out. Let's see some contact here Tony!

I believe that was his dad. Tony, Jr. has struck out a lot this year. 19 in 91 AB's.

As I wrote this, I see on Gametracker that he was able to move Jenkins over. Good job.

EDIT: And as I hit submit, we won!

Wow. Great win.

Everything has been going wrong for the Brewers the last couple weeks, and everything has been going right for the Cubs (am I the only one who thinks that every team plays their absolute worst against the Cubs?). This was shaping up to be a bad loss, but turned into a great win.

Well, except for Sheets' injury. Let's keep our strained fingers crossed.

While the thought is fresh in my mind, I really agreed with all the managing moves tonight. Sticking with Yo, seeing Cordero in the 9th, and the sub of Graffanino for Weeks to avoid a strikeout were all good moves.

It's always easy to remember when the manager does something you don't like and things don't work out, much harder to remember times that solid in game moves help the team.

I didn't see the interview, what happened?

I'm happy with the win, but I was against Graffy pinch hitting. He doesn't strike out much, for sure, but thinking longterm, imagine the good that a game winner could've done for Weeks' bat.

Yost was playing the percentages with Graff, and I generally agree with that, but my gut said stick with Rickie...Good thing it worked out.

Big time gut check win. Definitely in top 5 of the season.

I kind of wish Ned would have let Weeks bat there. He's been doing some good things the last two nights and I had a feeling he was going to be the one. But I'll take Graffy.

I know. I said supposedly because a lot of his backers claim he doesn't strike out a lot. I knew there was a good chance of that groundout though.

In other news, please let the injury to Sheets be as minimal as possible.

The unfortunate thing about that boob grab screen cap is that someone is going to know who that guy is, and it's going to get around... and he's going to be "that guy"...

We all do silly things with our significant others... this poor guy just got busted... oops...

Hilarious... and probably unfortunate for him...

I'll take the win, that was the greatest garbage pop fly of all time.

Yeah, splitter, a much nicer birthday present than Ben's finger injury. It sucks to have your favorite athletic event go sour on your birthday (I should know - I watched Brian Butch hurt his elbow at Columbus on mine).

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
