why has this fallen off the radar here? according to good sources it seems that the cubs have upped their offer (to a fairly ridiculous level - their top 3 pitching prospects + cedeno) and a bona fide deal is basically imminent. this concerns me. why have we stopped talking about it? denial? fatigue? depression? too caught up in the signing of kyle lohse?
