Write funny things about the Brewers

So you think you're funny?

Bugs & Cranks (www.bugsandcranks.com), a top baseball humor site, is looking for a Brewers writer. You'll need to post 2-3 times per week about the Brewers. Our content focuses on humor, so game recaps, sabermetrics and lineup analysis aren't what we're going for. If you're a reader of Deadspin, With Leather, Bill Simmons, Chuck Klosterman and their ilk, you'll understand what we're looking for - sports-related humor. We pay based on revenue sharing, which means you won't get rich (unless you own the Marlins). It'll open some doors and get you some exposure, but you really have to be in it mostly for fun. Experience doing some blogging and being internet savvy is pretty helpful, but not required.

Will we be ripping on the Brewers? With Leather usually has a pretty negative tone.

 

Or is it more like the Heckler? Mostly good natured?

Whatever your "voice" happens to be. Our last Brewers writer generally liked to rip on the Brewers, but in a way that a fan rips on the manager for being an idiot, etc. Most of our writers take a pretty positive tone, but each has their own style. Being able to find humorous things on the internet is probably just as valuable as being a good writer...
